The Washington state woman _Mashable_ wrote about in early October when her cochlear hearing implant surgery was live-tweeted and Instagrammed, is going on camera again as doctors turn on the hearing implant for the first time.

Seventy-nine year old Eleanor Day will have her hearing implant activated using a remote-controlled type device on Wednesday morning at 8:30- 9:30 a.m. PT by doctors at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle.
