If you were thinking about getting the Nokia Lumia 920, the new flagship on the Windows Phone platform, you better be comfortable giving your money to AT&T. The carrier announced on Thursday it would be offering the phone exclusively in the U.S.

AT&T said it would add the Lumia 920 and its smaller, less capable brother, the Lumia 820, to its selection of smartphones in November. It didn’t announce pricing.

Nokia’s decision to enter into an exclusive partnership with AT&T on the 920 — the manufacturer’s top handset — is surprising since it should want to sell the phone into as many customers as possible, and having just one carrier obviously limits that. Most likely, AT&T insisted…
